Featuring hand-drawn illustration and typography, Ode to Bukowski is a integrated system of printed elements that come together celebrate renowned author, Charles Bukowski. The integrated system includes the redesign of three existing books, On Cats, On Love and On Writing, a hand-bound, typographic calendar illustrating Bukowski’s, The Crunch as a “free-gift with purchase,” and promotional elements such as door posters and shopping bags. Ode to Bukowski is targeted toward independently owned and operated, exclusive booksellers around the world.

A hand-assembled, 9.5 x 12 inch, 8 spread booklet that makes use of different folds, die-cuts, and varnishing techniques becomes an interactive, illustration-heavy paper sample booklet metaphorically comparing the use of French Paper Co.’s Pop-Tone line to mastering the penny slots found in casinos across the country. Featuring hand-drawn vector illustrations and custom die-cut copper folder and confetti, The Beginner's Guide to the Penny Slots is an exciting experience from start to finish.

This redesign includes a system of printed elements that come together to promote a limited and collectible edition of the three pre-existing Smithsonian Field Guide, each featuring a unique, hand-drawn, brightly colored repeat pattern. It is targeted toward large-scale booksellers found in the United States, such as Barnes and Noble, and is meant to bring traffic to the lesser frequented sections within the store.

Willamette15, an 11-story, luxury apartment complex in Portland, Oregon, revolving around the overarching tagline, Where Parallels Converge. Stemming from the overall concept of convergence, the condo’s brochure revolves around the theme of physics and its roots, focusing on how it has required a multitude of contributions from various physicists, researching in parallel to each other and coming to achieve the various laws and theories commonly understood by people today.
Logo & Print Design
Resulting from a self-directed project while studying in Lacoste, France, FEMME et HOMME Magazine is a quarterly, European publication targeting students and young adults, age 22-35, studying abroad and looking for exposure to a more underground, European art scene. With a logo that was inspired by the symmetry between the french words for "woman" and "man," one side of the magazine features a female artist, white the other half features a male artist.
App Conceptualization
The concept of the app, blüe: a 24/7 pocket pal, was result of a self-directed project while studying in Lacoste, France. Deliverables include a logo, concept and potential design elements for a self-help app targeting people of all ages and demographics suffering from anxiety and depression.
Print Design, Branding & Illustration
A poster design for the SXSW Convergence Day that follows the theme of a butcher's guide/angus beef chart. The poster breaks the most important information into different cuts of meat and organizes the necessary information accordingly. Along with the poster, promotional items such as the different level badges and other merchandise sold during the festival all correlate around a unifying theme.
